Piling test
Energy of the D800-12 is adjustable between max 3136 KNM and min 2038 KNm. The final energy entering the pile is depending on the soil conditions and other project parameters. The average (efficiency) of the final energy to the pile lies between 60 and 70% of the hammer energy. The display in the left hand corner shows the amount of energy which is put into the pile.
This test was conducted on a 90 m long test pile which was 3 m extended especially for this purpose.
Transport frame hammer
The diesel hammer has a transport frame for horizontal (sea and land) transport. This frame has provisions for bringing the hammer upright.
Fully set up
The diesel hammer is currently fully set up at ROG in the Waalhaven, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Also the helmet and the strike plate are installed. On the same location the 20 ft offshore container with the power pack and spare parts is stored. The diesel hammer D800-12 is ready for use.

Tilting and transport frames
The diesel hammer is also equipped with tilting & transport frames for the leader and the hammer together. This transport frame enables to transport the leader & diesel hammer horizontally. If need be these frames can be used on site for tilting.

Sleeve and spider frame
Under construction in the Netherlands are the sleeve and spider frame just after assembly and NDT. Note that shear keys can be made available in order to reduce the inner diameter of the sleeve. Provision are made in the sleeve.
Pile diameters from 3500 mm to 6000 mm can be handled by this construction / sleeve.
Leader
Under construction in the Netherlands is the leader just after assembly and NDT. Note that the leader is fitted onto the spider frame via a pin construction. The Leader guides the diesel hammer up and down and constrains movement of the hammer in other directions.
